Lieutenant Governor Visits Bristol YouthWorks Program

Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito recently visited the MassHire Bristol Workforce Board’s Year Round YouthWorks program along with Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development Rosalin Acosta and State Representative Carole Fiola.  The MassHire Bristol Workforce Board along with partners the MassHire Fall River Career Center, MassHire YouthConnections Office, Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School and the Whirlpool Corporation, provided 12 youth with career exploration, job readiness training, occupational training in welding and a paid work experience component.  All 12 youth completed the program and have gained the necessary skills to embark upon a career ladder in the manufacturing industry.
